Green editing

Before the editing.
After (very novice)

These two little girls are good friends and the bonus they are cousins. My seester (I love saying it that way) moved in with us for a while with her three little ones(like I said before). Kyleigh started school up at Harvest today and when she came up stairs they were both wearing green so I wanted to get some pics.

I also took a photography class on Saturday with my good friend Whitneywe had a great time, I learned a ton and learned a little about editing photos and was trying some techniques out today while the boys were sleeping, while drinking a Pepsi ...ahhhh.

Thigh high's

Kessler is at that age that putting other people shoes on, is more fun than having his own shoes on.

Also the other day at church I was by my self (Ben was at work) and I asked Bauer to go get his black socks on I never thought about it again until we were sitting in sacrament and I looked down at his socks and noticed the heel of the sock was on the back of his leg. I realized he had gotten one of Ben's socks and pulled it up all the way to the middle of his thigh. I wish I would have got a picture when we got home. It was so cute.
Some exciting news around here, Ben's brother Seth is engaged to Kimberly Yates and will be getting married in April.
Ben was officially moved from ETL status (assistant manager) to STL IT status (store manager in training) all though for the year of 2009 he was an STL more than an ETL. Yeah!! which was good for a pay raise and he won't have to stay at Jordan Landing for very much longer.
My sweet "step" sister Sunny a(that's what we call each other) very close friend is getting married in June, hopefully in San Diego. Congrats to them:)
My sister Jennifer and her kids moved in with us today for a little while, we are excited to have them and should be fun to see what a house full of 7 kids under the age of 7 will be like, you can call me the octo mom or something like that:)
Also this week coming up Cooper starts his Karate, I am taking a photography class as well as a photo shop class on Tues and Thurs. I am excited. I am super excited to see how Cooper does? This should be interesting for him, I think he will either like it a lot or really hate it....I will let you know how it goes:)

I got it through the grape vine

We have had a rough week here at the Whidden's and it is Wednesday.

Cooper got sick Sunday night, throwing up 4-5 times through out the night.

He was feeling better by Monday afternoon.

Bauer throwing up Tuesday night all night (according to Ben) I was sleeping soundly in Lewiston, Idaho.

Bauer was feeling better by Tuesday afternoon.

Alivia throwing up all night last night and at 4:34 this morning Ben got up and started throwing up.

I think Kessler and I need to go have a little me and baby time, we should go to the movies or something and leave these sickies...( I wonder if he would sit through the movie The blind side?)

Also last night a neighbor of ours died, he was at work and spilled something on himself possibly splashed in his mouth? don't know for sure yet. He came home from work and was not feeling well and went to the insta care to be rushed to the hospital. Where he later died.

He leaves behind his wife and 3 kids. So sad, our prayers and thoughts are with them.

This is a picture looking down my street at there house, they called in a Hazmat team from Utah County, Provo area. They had to decontaminate the house and people who came in contact with him.

A few things

Is it me or does the time fly by.
First I CAN'T believe that my first child is 7. Seriously.
It is sad and sweet at the same time that I can't look at her and see her sweet little 6 month old face or hold her little new born body again.
It has made me think what do I need to do to slow the time down, more time on the floor playing? more time holding them on my lap?
It also made me think I have so many things going on that keep me busy and intentions that seem to slide by. I have committed myself to reading more, understanding more and making sure that I am open to receiving answers that myself or my children might need.I have always liked (I almost said loved) exercising and sometimes it ends up being an intention rather than an action. To points where I get dressed in my work out clothes and end up wearing them all day long and still haven't exercised. I need to remember how good it makes me feel and that my day feels so much more complete when I do it.To try and be a better cook, and make some different dishes. I need to help my children not be stuck on certain foods and not be afraid to try new things.
I need to drink more water, I wonder why I don't.

~~Birthday Bash~~

We had a good time at Chuck E. Cheese's for Liv's Birthday.
Here are some pics of the festivities. She got some "workout" clothes
Black Boots (size one) what?
Some ceramics to paint.
Bracelets.
A new bag.
Seven great things about Alivia
1. She is a really great BIG sister. She is sweet and thoughtful.
2. She is happy 97% of the time.
3. She loves to help me clean at night (night time is the key) it is her excuse to not go to bed.
4. She loves to listen to music
5. She loves to give things away. (sometimes things that shouldn't be given away)
6. She tries to tell jokes and has a sweet sense of humor.
7. She is the sweetest thing I could ask for, I am so thankful to be her mom. I am humbled that I get to help her grow up to be an amazing person.

The cup cake, cake.
It is so girly and I love that she loved it.

Would you like a little cake with your frosting.

Girls Night Out

Alivia is just about to turn 7. For an early Birthday present she got her ears pierced. Ben did not want to go, just as he has not wanted to take the kids to get their immunizations.
This are some of the before and after shots. She chose the color of her birthstone. After we went and got her hair cut at Cookie Cutters and then to Red Robin to share a burger and a shake.
My little girl is almost 7.....as Julie would say Boo.
