14/365-good friends

(1997)
I have a lot of good friends that have definitely made me who I am today, my sense of humor (a lot of them but some great memories, but, maybe started in 4th grade with Jen (C)J. - our prank phone calls or "helping the 2nd graders read", my love for fashion or style (Whitney). Stacy inspires me to be a better and more organized Mom. There are so many qualities and life lessons that I have learned from my friends.
But I want to send a shout out to a good friend of mine that really inspires me and reminds me how much I love my Savior and how much he loves me. He has blessed me with her friendship. I have so much in my life with SO many good friends and I wouldn't be anything like I am today without you.
Thank you all for being my friend!!

12/365-the side you never see

I was snapping some random photos for this 365 project I mistakenly agreed to:)
I was teasing Ben that I was taking photos in his favorite pose, sitting on the couch, holding the remote watching hockey. He turned and gave me this funny grin. I laughed and walked away as he says..."you better delete that"...he knows me better than that, of course not....it will be posted on the blog for everyone to see the side I only get to see.

A couple new ties for the boys. They got them for Christmas...I know what lame presents, but oh well.
A Church update, Ben was released from Gospel Doctrine and I was released a while ago from YW camp director. So we were called to Primary 4 year old CTR class. Fun times Ben is gone for Primary every other week, so some lucky person get to sub with me and my cute class.
We have a little boy whose parents speak mainly French to him, it was cute Ben asked him a few questions in French, he told Ben in French "I have spoke French since I was 2", as if it was a long time-it cracked us up. And another kid told me I hand out drinks for my job, his dad is a pilot so he knew somehow I was a flight attendant.
Having fun so far in Primary other than what is legal when disciplining kids? don't worry we have only had one time out for hitting someone in the face? But really how hard do you try to get them to listen? when it is not your kid and you can't threaten them or flick them on the back of their head...
what is legal...hmmmm
Someone in our family turns 8 this week...yippy!

Alivia has been taking guitar lessons since September. She begged and begged to take them because I had a guitar sitting in my closet. I found a cute teacher who is a high school student who teaches for a little extra cash.
She doesn't like to practice that much, but the other day when she was practicing she is becoming a good little guitar player.
I have challenged her to practice and we will video her and we will post it on the blog. She was pretty excited for that.
Coming soon...Alivia playing "Give said the little Stream".
