Digital Scrapbooking...

So I have this great friend whose blog is the cutest and introduce me to the wave of the future....digital scrapbooking this is actually my first official page and it may be simple but it took me an hour. Just want to say that it is a blast and I now know what I will be doing when Ben is watching hockey:)

Merry Christmas....

So I stole this cartoon from a neighbor of mine, I think it is so funny.

The pictures are from our ward party, as you can see Bauer did not like Santa. Alivia at first said I don't need to talk to Santa, I sent him a letter. Then she saw all the other kids and decided it was the thing to do. Cooper wouldn't even come close!!

This year is going to be so much fun. Alivia is super excited for presents and is even more excited to go on a plane ride to see Nana and Papa.

The kids are getting some fun things this year. Alivia is getting mostly princess stuff. Dress up clothes, shoes & princess games, and a scooter. Cooper is getting a drawing easel, colors, a big dinosaur and a scooter too. Bauer is getting a little ATV machine (not real) a little battery powered for small kids, and a doodle pro.

Ben bought his present in October, from Target a plasma TV, that is off to the repair shop:)

Andrea is getting, a mothers ring.

So all the material stuff sounds fun, but we sure our thankful for what we have, including our friends and family. We are really glad Ben's brother is home safe from his mission and we are able to spend some time with everyone this Christmas.

Happy Birthday Ben- December 19th

I know this is a few days early, Happy Birthday Ben!!! so I thought for Ben's birthday I would list 33 great things about Ben and maybe some funny ones too.

1. He loves Canucks Hockey, so much he subscribes to the "NHL package"

2. He loves working for Target, so much he "lives there"

3. He is a great dad, so much the kids can eat as much cookies, chips, pop whenever he is on duty:)

4. He is a great husband, when I give him lists of things to do, he never seems bugged or irritated. (not to say he jumps up with shouts of joy, but he helps me A LOT)
5. He loves applesauce, raspberry yogurt, chocolate shakes and is a definite carnivore. (prime rib)

6. He will dance with the kids if there is dancing music on, the kids think it is hysterical.

7. He was voted the best executive to work for at Target, and has recieved many gift cards, prizes, gifts for working so hard. (he usually gives them to me for my birthday or some kind of holiday, so he doesn't have to spend money on a present)

8. He has worn the same jeans the entire 8 years of our marriage I have bought him a new pair, but he refused so I took them back.

9. He loves country music

10. He will listen to my music, Josh Groban, Michael Buble, Alison Kraus and he will sing along.

11. He does not like to shovel snow.

12. He likes to take baths

13. He lets me drive almost everywhere ( usually when he drives I have to tell him where to go unless it is Target)

14. He loves to ice skate, and go sledding

15. He loves German Shepherds

16. He loves going to stores and staying in the electronics section the whole time

17. He loves double stuff "EL-fudges"

18. If Ben had to make dinner it would be one of three things

-hamburgers

-cheese sandwiches

-tuna casserole

19. He HATES to eat out

20. And if he is forced to eat out, it would be Olive Garden or a buffet

21. He loves Oatmeal with brown sugar or french toast with brown sugar

22.When he plays video games he sticks his tongue out

23. He is a LOYAL friend

24. He has cried a few times

32. He gained 15lbs on our cruise and lost 5lbs in one day, on the way home

33. His family loves him very much and they consider themselves very lucky to have him as a husband and a dad.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BEN!!!!

Tag....i'm it?

So a friend of mine so generously tagged me. I am not really sure what the completely means but I will fake it till I make it.

1. Some of you may know this already, but I do not like using the same dish towel more than once. For example I get a dish rag out to wipe off the counters 95% of the time it goes right to the washing machine. I use about 3-4 a day. Also they mostly should be white so I can bleach them. I love to smell them and smell bleach, it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy.

2. I love to read gossip magazines...i.e...People would be my first choice and then maybe US, OK or I could settle for a reader digest even though it doesn't have celebrity photos. (usually downtime on the airplane)

3. I love roller coasters, I had the opportunity this summer to go to "magic mountain" in California with some friends and hadn't been on one for a while (we all know my maternity history. 4 in 5 years I know, no one needs to remind me, I feel it everyday......) anyway it was SO FUN, I look forward to next summer, anyone who wants to make a trip let me know.

4. I secretly want to sing with the Tabernacle Choir, yes that would be the Mormon tabernacle choir. I sang in choir in high school and didn't realize how much I loved it. I have researched the process to try out and not real confident would pass the written portion. Maybe someday I will take music theory/music lessons.

5. This is going to sound crazy, but it is thanks to a yoga class I took once. When Ben is really stressed or tired and can't sleep I do some sort of relaxation exercise by telling him things to help him relax. i.e.......as you are laying there picture your arms sinking into the ground, feel your feet fill with warm water, feel the negative energy release out of your fingers. IT sounds crazy I know, but it works like a charm.
