~~Birthday Bash~~

We had a good time at Chuck E. Cheese's for Liv's Birthday.
Here are some pics of the festivities. She got some "workout" clothes
Black Boots (size one) what?
Some ceramics to paint.
Bracelets.
A new bag.
Seven great things about Alivia
1. She is a really great BIG sister. She is sweet and thoughtful.
2. She is happy 97% of the time.
3. She loves to help me clean at night (night time is the key) it is her excuse to not go to bed.
4. She loves to listen to music
5. She loves to give things away. (sometimes things that shouldn't be given away)
6. She tries to tell jokes and has a sweet sense of humor.
7. She is the sweetest thing I could ask for, I am so thankful to be her mom. I am humbled that I get to help her grow up to be an amazing person.

The cup cake, cake.
It is so girly and I love that she loved it.

Would you like a little cake with your frosting.

Girls Night Out

Alivia is just about to turn 7. For an early Birthday present she got her ears pierced. Ben did not want to go, just as he has not wanted to take the kids to get their immunizations.
This are some of the before and after shots. She chose the color of her birthstone. After we went and got her hair cut at Cookie Cutters and then to Red Robin to share a burger and a shake.
My little girl is almost 7.....as Julie would say Boo.

Scary Red Eyes/ Mother of the Year

I bought the kids these little statues for Christmas, there was four of them and Bauer painted the yellow one of course. I painted the kitty, it was for Kessler but he was sleeping (thank goodness) and Liv painted the dog with the red eyes. The funny part about it was she realized that his red eyes made him look scary she did not like him anymore.
Then the night became a bargain
Alivia: if you do this for me I will give you my dog with the red eyes.
Cooper: No thanks, he looks scary.
Alivia: hey Bauer will you trade me your dog and you can play with my dog for a while.
Bauer: okay, he takes it looks at it and then asks for his dog back.
Cooper's is not pictured he gave his to a friend in his kindergarten class, we drove it over to her house and left it on her door step.

WHERE IS YOUR MOTHER?

He probably had this for a good 3-4 minutes before I turned around and saw him...

Yes, he was not using a spoon, (like that would be allowed either anyway)
he had chocolate in every little crease in his fingers.

Chemistry lesson?

I love the school break, the kids don't have any schedules to follow we can eat breakfast after 9am. We can watch movies at 9:30 and then go Ice Skating and swimming in the same day.
Bonus: Ben was off and was excited (to the untrained eye, you might not see the excitement from Ben, but those who know him well have a little easier time)

We headed out to the "west side" (I would show you my two middle fingers crossed and the other fingers spread apart making my hand look like a "W" but for the sake of another picture)
West Valley has a ice rink and a pool hooked together. Cooper not knowing what would happen to his "drawers".
oopsie...

Bauer slipped and hit his head, so he hung with mom on the bench. I kept asking him if he wanted to go play. He is usually chill with mom wherever we go.

Kessler does not look very excited, it was right in the middle of his nap time.

Treasures

I couldn't get these pictures to switch, the reason I took them is Kessler is the BIGGEST candy freak, I think even more than Ben. I noticed he had a lifesaver on his bum. I though it was so funny so I grabbed my camera and was trying to take a picture of his bum, he thought I was chasing him. This is when I finally caught him. Do you like the treasures in his nose. Welcome to an everyday sight with Kessler, it is sad though I wipe his nose so much it becomes raw so easy so after he goes to be at night I lather it up with some cream the doctor gave me.
The lifesaver bum

Liv got a little camera for Christmas that takes video and still photos here are some of her first treasures.
If I were to put the video on here , you might get motion sickness.

8:07am

At 8:07 am this morning I heard the first little steps down the hallway into the family room and then I heard those little steps come running back into the boys room, Cooper, Bauer..... Santa came and brought lots of presents.

Then the pandemonium broke loose. Kind of.

They immediately dumped out their stockings and ripped open a package of lifesavers, candy cans, jolly ranchers, Hershey kisses all over the floor and Kessler was now in candy heaven. (usually candy is out of his reach so all over the floor he couldn't decide which ones to grab)

I loaded two videos of some of the highlights. Alivia did get her fake nails, a nail polish creator, a cup cake decorator & a mini camera type thing. She also got clothes, hair things, an iCarly blanket and some cash (thank you Nana and Grandma)

Cooper and Bauer loaded up on the Transformer items and Bauer did get his prized item of Rocky the robot truck. They also got blankets, puzzles, baseball mitts and baseballs.

Kessler got a little people school bus, a little tykes piano and a robot truck as well.

Andrea got a new set of scriptures, that say "Andrea Whidden" , photography class and a surprise gift of a GPS for the Suburban.

Ben got candy, some tools and got to put together 6-7 kids toys.

We had a good afternoon. We took the kids to see "the Chipmunks, the sqeakqual" it was cute and the kids loved it. We also had a special dinner tonight some honey baked turkey, potatoes supreme, corn and a pink fizzy drink.

After dinner, we read the kids a story about Santa and how you can relate Santa to Jesus, then we had the kids blow out a candle and then light a candle representing closing this year and then lighting the candle representing the New Year and keeping the light of Christ with them and then at the end of next year they will do the same (a little bit more detailed than that but for the sake of typing).

We are trying to come up with some of are own family traditions, Ben said next year our tradition should be prime rib.

Merry Christmas,

I am thankful for this time of year. I am thankful for my Savior and his humble birth, his parents who raised him on this Earth and Our Heavenly Father who sacrificed his son for our sake.
