CRAZY, with a capital "K"
o'm'gosh.....I went to the scrap book expo today with some friends , and first it was so FUN. Second, the craziest place, and third, the best deals in town.
Needless to say, I am now going to learn how to digital scrapbook. If any of you want a preview, visit my friends blog. Fassio family she is a pro, and I am hooked. I just need to learn the ropes so I can post soon.
I hope I can go again in April. And if anyone is interested in flying in to go with me. I will save you a buddy pass, to go.
All is well here. Getting Chilly. Gary and Jon are coming down next week, excited to see them and kind of excited to meet Allison. Okay I am excited and I won't mention a WORD about marriage. (word:)
Hope all is well, more posts to come. Please take my survey. Will try to update it frequently......

Family reunion

I don't know if you can see these pictures well. We were able to take some great pictures. Unfortunately, we were using a new camera that is a 35mm, I know ancient.
But what I love to point out is the picture of Papa Whidden, we all know him as the human pretzel. I thought it was cute Cooper was taking on some if his similarities.
These were taken in a small town in Canada, about 3 hours north of Vancouver.
It was fun to see Ben's extended family, that I don't know very well. It was also fun to hear Gary's wedding plans:) and play all day with Carter and Haley.

Number 4
So yes this is a picture of baby number four. This was about 3 weeks ago at my doctors office in West Jordan.
At the time of the appointment I was ten weeks and a day, so just about 13 weeks pregnant.
I personally think it looks like a girl :)
But the official due date(s) is somewhere between march 26 and the 31st.
Feeling much better now, not so good there for a few weeks, especially at night. Just in time for all of my night stand up trips. Quite a few times I felt so sick driving in, I would have to have the a/c on full blast the entire way.
All is well, the kids do not know yet, we will tell them in a couple weeks when it is a little more obvious.

Time flies.............
So where does the time go.......it has almost been 2.5 years that we moved from our old house and moved up the street, where things are frinedly but not the same.
It has almost been 5 years, since I had my first baby. A short 13.5 months later had a second.
I am not sure how much I remember those days, other than looking at pictures and thinking how cute Cooper was and how he is so big now.
I was lying down by Bauer the other day, thinking he is not a baby anymore and then he made the noise, that little babies make when they are sucking on their tongue or side of their mouth or something. I felt a twinge of gratitude that he still seemed little and not so grown up.
Bauer is probably been the easier of the children, we have never REALLY had to let him "cry it out". But he is into his, I like it this way and if you don't do it my way I will lay down and cry.
He is hitting now, more like a gentle pat, but his face says more than the hit.
He has many words, but the many we hear on a daily basis, "puppy" (everything is a puppy though) and airplane. The kids have taught him how to point out every airplane in sight.
So time flies, it is somewhat depressing, but somewhat satisfying. Moving past stages that I am glad to move past and then moving past stages that I am not glad to pass through.
We have had a great summer and I need to blog about that soon, it was filled with fun trips and not so fun trips......more to come..........

A California Adventure..

So Ben had a very unusual 4 days off in a row, so we decided to take advantage of the flight benefits and head over to CA. Luckily we had a car rental voucher to use that was going to expire soon. We made it there and back no problem and the kids did fairly well.We arrived on Thursday and just cruised around Downtown Disney, that ended up being too much for the kids, being right outside of Disneyland and being able to go in.
Friday DISNEYLAND ALL DAY 9-5 and then we left the park for dinner and went back from 7-11pm. The kids went all day long.
Alivia loved riding the Matterhorn (sp?) Cooper loved Winnie the Pooh land.
Saturday Ben took the kids to the L.A. zoo and I met up with some friends and went to magic mountain. That was SO FUN. Saturday night we just relaxed swam in the hotel pool and relaxed.
We flew home Sunday Morning, it was fast and furious but fun.......

Conquering fears.....

Cooper has had some what of a fear of water and not really having the desire to get into and play in depths of water, until today.......
We took a day trip to Seven peaks in Provo to beat the 100 degree heat here. Cooper turned over a new leaf.
He in a matter of hours was not liking pools and getting his face wet to, sliding down slides and falling off of floatee's and submerging himself and standing up clapping....."I DID IT"
What a great day, the kids are beat and so it Mom, that is some hard work chasing two little one through pools and slides all day. Luckily Grandma was there to keep Bauer entertained in his little area of the pool.
All is well on the home front, the back yard is coming in more and more.
We planted 3 fruit trees (apple, peach, cherry) tomatoes, cantalope, jalopenoes, corn, rasberries and blueberries.
I will give you a daily update of what has not pulled through. To date I have only lost one cantalope plant. I did find out, from my Dad that I was not watering it correctly. (news to me, you can water something wrong)
So we will see what makes it. We did plant some shade trees. They can't grow fast enough it is so HOT!!!!
Other news, our ward split and we are now the new 8th ward. I was called to be the activities chair person.
Ben will be called to be on the commitee, since I gave them his name on Sunday, he doesn't know that yet, so don't tell him:)
