I'm back pitches!! (saying from the movie Pitch Perfect) not trying to be ghetto or anything.
So.....why am I blogging again? good question?
Alivia had to teach in beehives today and took our very first family blog book for some part of her lesson and I was looking through in sacrament reading through the 200+ page book.
Ben gave me a little nudge and said you need to start blogging again.
I agree. It was fun, interesting, embarrassing to go back and read through the posts.
Mostly fun to read what we were doing, what the kids were saying and just reading through everyday life back then.
So what a better way to start off 2015 with pictures from our trip to Hawaii in April 2015.
For those of you that know me well, know that I secretly think I am Polynesian or Native Hawaiin....
Sorry to break the news to you I am not....I have heard throughout my life that I do have some Cherokee Indian (or Native American or First Nation) what ever is PC at this time.
Our favorite Island is Maui, and it just happens to be the hardest Island to get to Non-rev, a last we made it. I don't want to go into details of how we got there, that is not important but that I almost had a panic attack in the middle of the LAX airport.
Our first few days were spent at a new condo on the West side called Pikake. It is located in Honolokai. I love my Napili Bay, but this Pikake gave it a run for the money.
Our daily sea turtle sightings. The bigger ones are friendy-er....they are not as skidish as the little ones. We also love walking through the shops and window shopping. I kick my self though for not buying this little sign. I may have to bust out some craft supplies and make my own.....okay who are we kidding maybe not.

We sat through a 90 min time share presentation to get tickets for whale watching and I was pretty impressed with my impulsive nature I said no and we made it out of there not more in debt that walking in.
The whale watching was amazing. I would definitely do it again. We saw lots of male whales chasing the female. There was about 9 males to one female. We also saw a momma whale and her baby.

I love taking pictures of my feet in the sand, I love looking at the pictures later and takes me back to my happy place.

Ben was a little bit more careful this trip and didn't burn as fast as he normally does. In other words he listened to me and put some sun block on.
Some serious mental, emotional, physical relaxation for this hard working dude.
