37/365-Alivia's choice

After I was baptized I remember going to Letherby's that is about it. So I mentioned to Liv that she could choose the activity after her baptism. She wanted to go to Letherby's and then swimming. Good Choice.

She got mint chocolate chip ice cream and a side of their caramel (The. Best.)

And it is not complete with out a side of fries. right?

The kids had a blast swimming and the pass to the Legacy Center is paying off.

36/365-

 Now I say unto you, if this be the desire of your hearts, what have you against being baptized in the name of the Lord, as a witness before him that ye have entered into a covenant with him, that ye will serve him and keep his commandments, that he may pour out his Spirit more abundantly upon you?

Today was an amazing day, our little girl was baptized and we are happy for her. She made a good choice today.

There are things in my life that I look back on now and think if I can do better for my kids I will be happy.

Today was one of those days. When I was growing up my dad stopped going to church when I was around 6 or 7 years old and my family stopped going to church all together very regularly.

So when I turned 8 my Dad wasn't going to baptize me..and since my family wasn't really going to church, they had the ward mission leader (I think) come to our house and give me the discussions. This at the time made me feel different and made me have different emotions about being baptized than I should have.

I wanted to make sure her experience was the complete opposite I am not sure if it was, but for one she was able to have her father baptize her and confirm her a member of this church and give her the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Ben was having a hard time with his emotions for good reason and I will admit it is good to see some emotion from him time to time.

He was also coming down from one of the most stress full days he has ever had at Target (Friday).

So I was glad he was able to put all of that aside and focus on Liv, give her a sweet blessing and show of his love for her by his actions and words.

We had lots of friends and family there.  It was depressing to not have any "Whidden's" there. I know it is so far/cost/time etc.. to travel--these are the days you miss family the most!

Today is a day I will never forget.

I love my Heavenly Father.

I am thankful for His Son.

This is forever written on my heart.

34/365-pain in the dog!

I was forced to take a picture of the dogs, because I needed to blog about my morning yesterday. Yes two posts in a row, because yesterday was non-stop and I ran out of time before going to work last night.

It started as my usual Wednesday morning, the kids (liv and coop) alarm  goes off about 6:30 they don't have to leave until 7:45 but they are slow in the morning.

ANYWAY....when they come upstairs they let the dogs outside to go the bathroom Alivia opened the laundry room door and came and told me...that the laundry room stunk and that LuLu (we really don't know who did it) pooed in there.

Excited about that I laid there for a few more minutes waiting to see if Ben would get up and go take care of it since she is "HIS" dog..

Well he didn't.

I don't blame him.

Into the laundry room not just a clean pile of you know what on the floor, one of those, kind of walking around situations, EVERYWHERE!!

I am proud to admit, I didn't gag or dry heave once, I thought about it, but I was able to compose myself.

Sometime I hate dogs! and yesterday was one of those days!!

33/365-Milk

Truly I never thought in my life I would feel some relief when I look in my fridge and see 9 gallons, YES.....NINE!! there are four in the door not pictured.

I went to Costco and put two boxes in my cart and then thought to myself I should buy another one I can make room...and I did.

Cereal anyone?

 (sorry I couldn't resist putting a cow on there)

32/365-20/20 vision

I had an idea today (remember I am trying to think outside of the box) and thought I should put my makeup on only one half of my face and see what it looks like?

Well I couldn't take a good picture of myself once I did that so I settled on just my eyes.

As I was looking at this picture I was thinking I see the same out of both eyes regardless of what they look like.....I would go into some deep thoughts about outward appearance and what I think others might think,  maybe for another night.

31/365-When you don't know who to trust...

I scouted out a new place to take some pictures and this was spray painted on the sidewalk.

So obviously I had to take a picture.

I am running low on ideas and time lately for this 365 a day blog, I may need another field trip somewhere to snap some random photos to get some creative juices flowing or just juices would be good right now.

I suppose I will just 'TRUST JESUS'!!
