A couple new ties for the boys. They got them for Christmas...I know what lame presents, but oh well.
A Church update, Ben was released from Gospel Doctrine and I was released a while ago from YW camp director. So we were called to Primary 4 year old CTR class. Fun times Ben is gone for Primary every other week, so some lucky person get to sub with me and my cute class.
We have a little boy whose parents speak mainly French to him, it was cute Ben asked him a few questions in French, he told Ben in French "I have spoke French since I was 2", as if it was a long time-it cracked us up. And another kid told me I hand out drinks for my job, his dad is a pilot so he knew somehow I was a flight attendant.
Having fun so far in Primary other than what is legal when disciplining kids? don't worry we have only had one time out for hitting someone in the face? But really how hard do you try to get them to listen? when it is not your kid and you can't threaten them or flick them on the back of their head...
what is legal...hmmmm
Someone in our family turns 8 this week...yippy!

Alivia has been taking guitar lessons since September. She begged and begged to take them because I had a guitar sitting in my closet. I found a cute teacher who is a high school student who teaches for a little extra cash.
She doesn't like to practice that much, but the other day when she was practicing she is becoming a good little guitar player.
I have challenged her to practice and we will video her and we will post it on the blog. She was pretty excited for that.
Coming soon...Alivia playing "Give said the little Stream".

This might be a long year for a 365 project. I hope this doesn't get to annoying for me or anyone else for that matter....It does challenge your creativity however and makes you look at things all day as "what will be my next picture".
until tomorrow...

Day 4

Classic Skating Rink in Sandy was a old past time I loved. I took my kids there this afternoon for a little stroll down memory lane.
They still have the numbers on the ground and you can still win prizes if you are on the right one. There is a new generation of skaters, I didn't see any cute girls with pig tails and white roller skates with pink wheels I would have took her picture if I did.
I also didn't see any cute boys there to skate around the rink and hold hands with oh well.
My kids had fun, they let you scooter and ride tricycles if you want so the boys scooted and Alivia roller bladed. I rented the speed skates, I only fell once trying to help Cooper get a hang of it. My wrist might be really sore in the morning.

Dear Classic Skating,
I miss you,
I miss going there with all my friends and
not having to care about anything but the next song and maybe some nachos.
I remember the birthday party you had for me and sliding down your water slides.
I wish you would bring back the tube run that was fun.
Maybe we will come back next Tuesday.
Love, Andrea
