Lulu

The newest member of our family. Lulu
If you didn't know Ben LOVES German Shepherds.
It is almost an obsession, he talks about them, looks at them all the time in the classifieds. Has been talking about when he gets his dog, blah, blah, blah....
Today his 35 year old dream came true. (again)
We have had a German Shepherd before and adopted him out when we built our second house in Harvest Hills.
Today though we got a little girl, I think Alivia would have filed an emancipation from her parents if we would have got a boy, when we had the choice of what would come home with us.
So for now, Ben has a contract to sign of all the duties that come along with a puppy, and I would like to wish him luck. I will be taking a Tylenol PM tonight so I sleep through him having to get up 3-4 times to take her out:)

Some old photos

These are some photos I just had developed. When Ben and I went to Maui a few months ago, we love this cove we call Turtle Bay, it is in Napili Hawaii. I love this place, I love sea turtles they look like they are flying in the water.
This picture below, this turtle swam right underneath us for a minute or so and Ben got close enough to touch it.

There is a puffer fish in this picture above.

Rocket Fish

One of the best things I have ever bought myself....I mean Ben.
Dear Inventor of the wireless headphones,
Thank you for saving me from hours, I mean HOURS of listening to hockey games, UFC and scary movies.
Thank you,
Andrea

March Gladness:)

Some of the first buds to come out, these are my "microphone" flowers, with little tulip buds coming out as well.

My first bucket of weeds, oh how I hate them...
This is a sign I am outside, my visor, phone, and gloves also something that would be pictured here would be my sunglasses, I was wearing those:)

Kessler bringing me all sorts of things out of the garage.

My little helper, he was actually doing a pretty good job he did dig up a few little weeds for me.

Waiting for my friend to come outside.

Love the warmer weather.

The first one.

Bauer gets the privilege of being the first little Whidden to get stitches/staples. Long story short, we were going somewhere, the place was closed (Bauer had taken off his seat belt thinking we were getting out) I turned the car around to go back home and had to stop really fast from someone pulling out in front of us he slid out from his seat and hit his head on the seat in front of him.
3 Staples later:(

I love you Sunshine!

I LOVE the SUNSHINE!!! ahhhh I feel so peaceful right now, sitting here, the house is silent, except for the dryer going, drying my newly washed bath matts. Mmmm I put lots of good smelling stuff in the wash so it will make my bathroom smell wonderful.
An update on the happenings around here, Ben will be leaving Jordan Landing in the next 3-4 weeks to be a "floater" in Target Land.
I am still doing my part-time-ness and meeting some interesting people, see other blog for details.
The kids keep asking me when there will be some nice weather and are killing me in the mean time. It is nice for 2 days and then cold and windy for 3 days. Some of our adventures lately, we went for Burgers and chocolate shakes, Ben and I were able to go to the Brian Regan Concert and it was one of the most enjoyable things I have done in a while.
I REALLY like to laugh...I am also done with my photography 1 class out here in by my house, and have now started a photography 2 class up at the University. It is much better, because it is 2 hours and the teacher shows many examples (through power-point) of what he is talking about and it helps me understand easier.
Here are some photos of our "field trip" to down town SLC. I am not one for taking many photos without people in it, so it was nice to take the time and look at things and try and be "creative".

We have lots of plans coming up, a trip to Canada for a Wedding, a trip to DisneyWorld (planned and having been paid for monthly for the last 18months),
a (me) only trip to San Diego for another Wedding.
Girls camp in August, and.....
We are thinking we might go to Germany (i know) in the fall with the kids to see Nana and Papa or Elder and Sister Whidden.
However if you are looking for service project and would like to watch 4 kids all under the age of 7 all unemployed and very high maintenance I sure you will be blessed with a non-stop ticket to Heaven. (just kidding) I already talked to Ben and he said no more trips with out the kids, ahhh how sweet and NOT so sweet.

He's Baaack!

This dog is so weird, yes he has never been properly trained, I was too impatient with his hyper-ness, and when he goes outside he runs and runs and runs in weird patterns.
When you start jumping on the trampoline he tries to run under your feet while you are up in the air.
It cost me some cash-o-la to get him free from the animal shelter, so Mr. Incredible is back for now. If he runs again, he might as well stay we he runs too, I am going to have to come up with a creative story of where he went-- to tell the kids.
