A Lovely November

November is a great month around here, our wedding anniversary, Thanksgiving, and of course Julie and Tim's Birthday's. (personally my two favorite days, one more than another, but that is for another blog, at another time:)
It has been on the warm side here is Zion, aka...God's Country.
We have spent some extra days outside. This is a picture of Liv in my mom's back yard, picking up leafs from her 35 year old sycamore tree.
Alivia exclaims this leaf is as big as my head.
It sure is...

2. Fake Sharp Nails (she loves fake nails)

Target Man

This morning as Ben was getting ready for work , the boys usually play in there room for 10 or 15 minutes and as Ben walked by their room to go, Bauer exclaims "wait for me Target man".
I died laughing....

Impact

There are times in your life when things happen you will never forget how it made you feel....September 11, finding out I was pregnant with Alivia, seeing some one die, hearing your daughter say someone told her "they didn't like her".
My point, there is this blog that has touched me so much, I would say that I am addicted and she ever wrote a book I would read it. (that says a lot for a busy mom). She has been featured on a few shows locally and nationally.
I had heard about her prior to her blog being super popular because she was in a plane crash and was burned over 80% of her body. It wasn't until she was back from being in the hospital that I started to follow and read through all of her posts, I was finding myself 4-5 hours at night until 2am reading all of her archived posts.
She has helped me, once again, be truly thankful for my life, my blessings, my opportunities and humbled my spirit.
Thank you Nie Nie.
I pray for her, I think about her throughout the day and hope her life gets easier.

Mamma!

Lately when someone burps, Kessler has learned that it is not appropriate. It started once when Ben burped and he said "daddy" as if it was bad. So I grabbed the camera and was pretending to burp to get it on video:)

School days

School has been in for a while now, and both of the kids totally love it.
Here are their school photos, I have been doing a little diggi scrappin lately, trying to get caught up on our personal family history.Cooper's favorite things about school are "the abc's" and he likes to "be good".
Cooper said the craziest thing the other day that I wanted to remember to write down. We were watching the CMA's and a group won, and one of the guys in the band was hugging and kissing his wife and some other people, he said "Mom is this the show where the gentlemen pick the ladies?" what struck me so funny is that he said gentlemen....I wondered where the heck he got that....and then I remembered a few months ago I was talking to him about being a gentlemen (holding doors etc...) it is funny the stuff they remember, I thought is was so cute:)
Alivia's favorite things about school she says, is recess (well of course), she loves school lunch (again yes) and she loves her teacher. We do love her teacher. Words cannot express the gratitude I have towards how hard her teacher works and how special she tries to make the kids feel.
