Happy Mother's Day!

"Never forget that these little ones are the sons and daughters of God and that yours is a custodial relationship to them, that He was a parent before you were parents and that He has not relinquished His parental rights or interest in these little ones.
Now, love them, take care of them.....welcome them into your homes and nurture and love them with all of your hearts." Gordon B. Hinckley

I love this quote, and this day I am especially thankful to be a Mother.
I am so blessed to have four kids. I know these days some people might think it is crazy to have a bigger family. I am truly, truly blessed. I feel a great responsibility to be a Mother and know every night, all though the days might not be perfect, I know, I am a good Mother.

Happy Mother's Day to all of you....I am so blessed to have good friends and family, that are such great Mothers and set such a great example for me.

"Love your children, cherish them. They are so precious. They are so very, very important. They are the future. You need more than your own wisdom in rearing them. You need the help of the Lord.....Pray for that help and follow the inspiration which you receive." Gordon B. Hinckley

Happy Birthday Bauer!!!

Two years ago today our sweet little Bauer was born at 1:09pm.

He is such a funny little boy, he can keep up with the best of them.
He tolerates his sister dressing him up in princess clothes. He is a really good sleeper and always has been. He loves to take naps and when he goes to bed at night he falls right asleep.

He has the cutest little smile and says the funniest things and mimics everything you say. That is why he says Crazy all the time.

He loves his Brothers and sister and loves his mommy and daddy too. Especially daddy, he will sit on Ben's lap for hours, ok maybe an hour.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY BAUER!!!!

The new and improved A. Whidden~

So from my last post we were able to travel to Edmonton, Canada for Ben's 2nd to youngest brother Gary's wedding to Alison, or Allie as some of us call her.

Well since there is already a list of A. Whidden's in the family, I would personally like to welcome her to the A. Whidden club. And mostly wish them congrats and hope all is well getting there new life organized.

Gary is one lucky guy to meet and marry a girl like her and she is lucky the same.

The wedding was great, they do wedding's a little different in Canada, than they do in the states.

It is more a program than a 'reception' line' etc........

Cooper refers to Allie as 'Princess Allie' and anytime he sees a girl in a pretty dress, he asks me if her 'dreams are going to come true' and every time I say 'yes Cooper her dreams came true'

How long it takes us to take a good photo;)

This weekend we were able to travel up to Edmonton, Canada.

We went there for Allie Cole and Gary Whidden's wedding at the Edmonton Temple.

It was a great weekend we had a blast, we were able to go the the West Ed mall and to the indoor water park, unfortunately I didn't bring my camera inside, so I can't post any photos, but the mall is amazing. We stayed at a hotel with all of Ben's family and all of our rooms were fairly close so the kids ran from room to room.

The flight was good, my mom came with us to help us for that reason and to get away for a weekend, she has never been to Edmonton.

We went to go to this bridge to take the after wedding photos and we were taking some family pics as well, and this is how many it takes to get a good one;)

Tis the season...for soccer

So the kids both were signed up for soccer and it is quite the excitement around here.

Mostly for Livi she loves to put the shin guards, socks and pink and black cleats on.

Cooper wasn't really too sure of soccer and getting knocked over a few times. He is a pretty mild kid who likes a lot of structure. So it really isn't his thing, running around like crazy people without a definite job to do.

Bauer was beside himself having to sit on the side lines.

It was really fun to see how good some of the little kids are, there are some 5 year olds that are awesome!!!

Oh another funny thing about Cooper. His pre-school teacher was there with her kids and we were playing there team. She was sitting on the side lines and Cooper every time he ran past "Hi Ms. Nicole" and would wave until she acknowledged him, hence the reason he was knocked down sometimes.

Good thing for a big sister!!

So Alivia has really liked her dress up kit that we got her for Christmas. By 8:00 am she had Bauer dressed up as you can see and unfortunately, I didn't get a picture of what she put Cooper in and no it wasn't a princess dress. She had him in black, hanes, sweat pants and a button down white shirt, his black sport coat and a tie. He was the prince. Bauer on the other hand, I don't think had much choice or the knowledge to choose otherwise. I do have to say that Bauer would be a really cute little girl.
The latest pics of Kessler, he is one month old today. We got his pics taken at Target tonight and I was really impressed how well they turned out, and I am not just saying that. They changed to digital and it works much better. It is the same company that JC Penney switched too.
Anyway life is sailing along. We will be going on our first family trip of four kids next weekend a trip to Canada for wedding and we are really excited. Not so much for the plane ride, but we are taking Grandma to help out. Much appreciated.
