Andrea {work} update, mom update later

As far as work goes it is going well, I still love my part time job. I love the people I work with, I love the passengers I meet and the cities I travel too. Over the years I have definitely gained a greater love for aviation and traveling. I love learning about flying, the operation and so with my schedule right now I mostly do a lot of reading on news sites, blogs or talking with my coworkers about the aviation industry. I don't see myself changing anything about my job, maybe only going full time as the kids become more independant.

I know the selfies on the airplane are pretty pathetic but it amuses me and my flight attendant friends. We do have a lot of inside jokes and when working with friends it doesn't seem like a job.
A very lovely day in Jackson Hole, one of my favorite places to fly. You never know what you're gonna get, bumpy ride or a really bumpy ride.

Long story short but for a period of time I applied to be the Chief flight attendant in SLC. It was a really great expierence and I wish it could have lasted longer.
The long and short of it, is that first and foremost my kids were "suffering" with the lack of my availability. The house, the yard, laundry was all getting lost in this new norm. It was hard for me to be away so much, even though they were at school,
Also, after a few months I realized that I was not being the manager I wanted to be. There were a lot of office politics, policies, and I felt a lot of managers out of touch of who they were managing.
I was able to work with some great people, and I really learned a lot.
I hit my 16 year mark this year. It is amazing how fast it goes. I am currently working part time, flying. I try to work the weekends so I can be home during the weekdays to help get the kids off to school.

There is never a lack of beauty in my job that is one thing I have been thankful for since day one. You will also always see the sun, somewhere while you are at work so those long January, inversion, overcast days aren't so bad when you know you can go to work and get out of the gloom.

Some really great people I worked with in the office.

My favorite part was meeting with the flight attendants for their anniversaries, I normally would meet them at the plane and surprise them.
I have a lot of great friends that I have met over the years....

This lady right here makes me laugh until I can't laugh no more.
I love flying with her. We have such a good time, it doesn't feel like work when we are together.

I know the selfies are super lame, but we have a lot of down time sometimes and do random things to keep us busy

It never hurts to get a first class seat!

The benefits are pretty much the only reason I am still there.
This year alone we have flown to
Florida
Hawaii
Canada
California all on my benefits.

Other than work I stay pretty busy with household stuff, I have started a few projects that I need to finish. I started on putting new floor in the laundry room and putting up a rustic accent wall in the boys bathroom. I have had the time to finish it, just not the motivation.

I love where we live a little bit of city and still a little bit of country.
Car selfie waiting for Ben to get all his stuff organized so we could pull the trailer in. We recently went camping to Flaming Gorge!!
One of the big fish Ben caught off the shore, we also trolled from the boat and had a blast!
 Miggy's first time camping

Kessler put a line in behind the boat with power bait on it instead of trolling gear and pulled in this big one!!
 Bauer and his Kokanee salmon
Alivia swatting bugs/fishing and playing on her phone....ps those are my flip flops her feet have grown a lot lately.
My fishing budddy, he did pretty good reeling in the fish all by himself, he also loves to use the net and catch other peoples fish.
Birthday Party for my brother and my dad they share the same birthday and are exactly 35 years apart.
This is the church bag, we really didn't need this many books for sacrament but whatever keep them quiet
