Happy Birthday Cooper!!

Cooper is 6!! what a mighty fine 6 might I add.

Cooper was born on a Sunday at 12:15 in the afternoon.

SIX GREAT THINGS ABOUT COOPER!!

1. His favorite color is blue

2. He does not like a lot of food, very limited on the food choices.

-His choice for his birthday dinner, Spaghetti and cupcakes!

3. He loves to be tickled, softly and the tickle attack kind.

4. He very sensitive and cares a lot about others.

5. When he cries he cries really loudly, you never mistake his cry.
6. We sure do LOVE him A LOT!!

Other Humans

Tonight in the car Cooper was telling a very interesting story to our family visitor. The part I caught is ...
Cooper: My Mom was going to another humans house...
I have no idea what or who he was talking about but it made me crack up laughing.

Peek-a-boo

Kessler this morning found his way into the boys empty laundry basket (Monday laundry day)
He kept saying "momma" (like look for me) all though his head was not all the way hidden.
Too cute!

I have teased Ben many times about what he buys at the store
compared to what I buy at the store
and
this day I had to take a picture to prove it,
-2 bags of doritos
-2 bags of Potato chips
-4 chocolate bars
-8packages of cookies
-box of donuts
-6 boxes of kettle popcorn
-about 30 packages of kool-aid
-a bag of gummy bears.
I wonder if eating like this will EVER catch up to him?
(he still weighs what he weighed basically in high school, maybe a little lighter)

Where is the Salt?

I have been wanting to go out to the salt flats for quite some time, and I finally one afternoon did it. It was a good drive and the kids were happy in the back watching a movie.
The only bad part about it was, there was no salt.....well it was covered by water. In the winter the snow melts and covers the salt flats and then in the summer the water evaporates and the salt flats are back.
It was still beautiful none the less and nice to quench my curiosity . Not much to update other than I painted my front computer room and put up some bead board. Still working on the finishing touches.
Painted Liv's new room and Cooper, Bauer and Kessler got a pretty cool Blue and Grey room, and putting to good use a Canucks stick on from uncle Jon.

We are having fun with our visitors, my seester (I love saying it that way) and her kids are still here and are really excited for summer time. SO AM I!!!! it is hard to entertain 7 kids when it is too cold to go outside.

Ben is getting his truck fixed he backed into someone a few weeks ago, and now has no truck for 3 days, and then it might go up for sale. We are thinking about selling it and then buying something else next year.

I have been flying quite a bit this month, like I said before I do have a lot on my "I want to buy list" so I then have to fill in some trips on Ben's "if you want to spend money you need to work more list"

The kids are doing great-
Kessler will only give you a kiss on the lips right now, none of the cheek stuff, if you turn so he will kiss your cheek he will wait until you turn back around.
Alivia is loving school, she has been having quite a few read a thons lately and I must say she is becoming a good little reader. It cracks me up though when she is reading a book that has slang in it, and she stumbles across the words, for example a book was saying "Nada, nothin' , zero, zilch" and I had to explain to her a good while why people write that way. Now she tries to remember the slang word and use them in her vocabulary.
"Mom I have zilch dollars to go to the store"

Cooper is LOVING karate it is so fun to watch and the teacher is amazing. He won't be staying in it unfortunately it is way to expensive when it is not the community education pricing.

Bauer is still obsessed with YELLOW, I am not sure if I put this on here. But a little while ago, we went to Artic Circle and the kids all got a quarter to buy these big gum balls and Cooper wanted blue and got white, Alivia wanted pink and got orange, Bauer really wanted yellow and got YELLOW, It was so funny!!

Blahh Monday...

We have been battling the coughs and colds and tummy troubles around here and the last couple days have been on the up hill, it probably has been the worst winter with my kids and being sick I can ever remember. In my photography class our "assignment" is to take pictures with aperture priority only. So here are some of the shots.

Liv is still taking classes at the Vibe and we had a great time at the show called "move" it was amazing. It made me want to be a dancer and we all know that would not turn out so well.
The girls love practicing their "dance" moves and posing whenever the camera is pulled out.

Our little guest staying with us for a while.

Kessler with no clothes on, seems to be the norm lately.

This was a pic Cooper actually took.
Also yesterday for Super bowl Sunday, I made baby back ribs, potato salad, pineapple (didn't make it just cut it up:) and chocolate cake from Costco. YUMMY fun day yesterday.
My Mom and Bro came over with their new phones and my Mom cracks me up, she is going to have to take a class on how to operate her new phone:)

What have we been up to?

I wish I could say nothing, that is how I feel this late at night.
We have been busy, Alivia is in Dance, Cooper is in Karate, Bauer is becoming a nicer older brother, Kessler is becoming a big boy-saying more and more everyday. He is putting many sentences together and gets really excited when you repeat back what he said to you.
I have been learning about photo editing- textures and tonight's lesson aperture. The reason I took a picture of my ring, he wanted us to try and focus on one thing, and I didn't want to take a picture of my neighbor I didn't know:)
