I have been wanting to go out to the salt flats for quite some time, and I finally one afternoon did it. It was a good drive and the kids were happy in the back watching a movie.
The only bad part about it was, there was no salt.....well it was covered by water. In the winter the snow melts and covers the salt flats and then in the summer the water evaporates and the salt flats are back.
It was still beautiful none the less and nice to quench my curiosity .

Not much to update other than I painted my front computer room and put up some bead board. Still working on the finishing touches.
Painted Liv's new room and Cooper, Bauer and Kessler got a pretty cool Blue and Grey room, and putting to good use a Canucks stick on from uncle Jon.

We are having fun with our visitors, my seester (I love saying it that way) and her kids are still here and are really excited for summer time. SO AM I!!!! it is hard to entertain 7 kids when it is too cold to go outside.

Ben is getting his truck fixed he backed into someone a few weeks ago, and now has no truck for 3 days, and then it might go up for sale. We are thinking about selling it and then buying something else next year.

I have been flying quite a bit this month, like I said before I do have a lot on my "I want to buy list" so I then have to fill in some trips on Ben's "if you want to spend money you need to work more list"

The kids are doing great-
Kessler will only give you a kiss on the lips right now, none of the cheek stuff, if you turn so he will kiss your cheek he will wait until you turn back around.
Alivia is loving school, she has been having quite a few read a thons lately and I must say she is becoming a good little reader. It cracks me up though when she is reading a book that has slang in it, and she stumbles across the words, for example a book was saying "Nada, nothin' , zero, zilch" and I had to explain to her a good while why people write that way. Now she tries to remember the slang word and use them in her vocabulary.
"Mom I have zilch dollars to go to the store"

Cooper is LOVING karate it is so fun to watch and the teacher is amazing. He won't be staying in it unfortunately it is way to expensive when it is not the community education pricing.

Bauer is still obsessed with YELLOW, I am not sure if I put this on here. But a little while ago, we went to Artic Circle and the kids all got a quarter to buy these big gum balls and Cooper wanted blue and got white, Alivia wanted pink and got orange, Bauer really wanted yellow and got YELLOW, It was so funny!!
