Things you may not know about me?

Thanks to my sister Stephanie, I was tagged, even though I have done this before I thought REALLY hard about things that I love, that might be a little strange.

1. Okay, I have a small obsession with our garbage disposal, I often wonder how dirty is in there, so whenever I have boiled something for dinner or whatever. I LOVE to pour the hot boiling water down the disposal and turn it on, for some reason I think it is disinfecting it??
I also love to put ice in the disposal, I once read it sharpens the blades?? so occasionally I will fill up a cup of ice to pour it in the disposal.....

2. I don't really like having dinner, I would say 90% of the time, I make food for my family (Ben and the kids) and either not have anything or the majority of the time have cereal. For some reason I have been really turned off to dinner time meals.

3. I still love to chew ice, sadly it is an obsession, I will admit. If I were to go to the 7-11 or whatever and get a soda, I would fill it about 75% full of ice. Ben has lectured me over and over about not wasting my money on ice.

4. Some bad habits.....lets see, I usually am quite perfect...:)
maybe not cleaning the bathrooms as much as I think I should.
When I was pregnant I would drink a lot of soda, I have definitely cut a lot out, but that is a guilty pleasure (not diet soda, seriously who kids them selves, if your going to drink soda, its gotta be the real stuff) (exception for Stacy S and Jami H.;)

5.The grossest thing I have seen lately......um there is a lot to choose from but I would have to say, I kind of get grossed out when passengers take pillows from the a/c and snuggle their faces up to them. So they lean against the pillow against the side of the a/c........blaaaggghhh
NO THANKS----I will bring my own thank you....

6. Some jobs I have had
15-16 years old- West Jordan Care center (loved that job, learned so much about being grateful for my life)
17 years old-Jeans West at the Valley fair mall (learned gang signs;)
17 years old-Crosslands care center, learned the value of team work (I would work on one hall by my self a lot. It was hard to not be able to get to everyone, that needed things done for them)
18 years old- University of Utah Hospital, this was a great job, was able to see CRAZY things I would have never been able to ever see in my life. Was able to participate in medical research studies, learned the difference between real breast and fake ones (ask me sometime I will fill ya in)
worked there for 4 years, so glad I did.
22-31 Flight attendant, instructor, part time flight attendant.
-learned NEVER, EVER, EVER judge a book by its cover, there are so many weird people out there, but they all have a great story....
learned all my computer skills and public speaking skills.....the best job (other than being a mom) that you could ever have.....

I would love to tag...Leah, since she FINALLY created a blog, after her two favorite sister in laws bugged her to death. Julie she is my sister-in-law-in-crime;) AND ANYONE WHO WANTS TO SHARE, some neat things we didn't know....

A week in review

This week has flown by, as the last 2 months have.

So I want to post a few pics the first is we moved to kids downstairs all in the same room so I can repaint Alivia's room and now Kessler's has his own room for a while.

Well they all love to sleep in Alivia's bed, so he they are zonked out all snuggled up together.

Next Ben had a few days off and were able to take the kids fishing to Tibblefork in American Fork Canyon, we unfortunately did not catch anything, but the friends we went with did.

The boys had a blast throwing rocks into the water, that kept them occupied almost the whole time.

And today we were able to bless Kessler.

What a great day, I love that little guy, we are so lucky to have him......

has this ever happen to you?

So yesterday was a really busy day, between the kids, house, a neighborhood BBQ, and a meeting with the primary for our summer BBQ (I am activities committee) so I was in a hurry to get ready late in the Afternoon. I jumped in the shower washed my hair and then all of the sudden I did not know where I was at or what I was doing. Obviously I figured it out really fast. It was kind of like when you are driving somewhere familiar and you don't remember the last five minutes.

It was so weird I couldn't help but crack up laughing.

if you have a chance...

My mom is taking care of this guy at work and his mother posts a blog every morning, if you get a chance read her blog entry for Memorial Day.

The mother keeps a daily log of how he is doing, and she tells anyone they can read it, she just askes that you keep him in your prayers. She has had over 40,000 hits.

He is a 33 year old with Cystic Fybrosis, that recieved a double lung transplant 13 weeks ago and has been in the hospital ever since then.

2 months old~

Kessler is 2 months old now, and man he is a sweet little guy, he loves his brothers and sister, he loves all the chaos around him, (at least I think he does) He hasn't gone to his 2 month well child check but this week we will go see our beloved Dr. Lei. He is the greatest pediatrician, he has been with us from the start and I mean Alivia.
This memorial day weekend Alivia and Cooper are sleeping at Grandmas house, they get very spoiled at her house, popsicles, pancakes, you name it they ask for and usually get it.
Thanks Grandma, it has been an unusually quite night. Bauer has been out of sorts though, kept asking for Cooper and was getting into EVERYTHING, since no one was around to entertain him......

Bag tagged.....?

So I was bag tagged, I thought this was quite funny so here ya go.
Sadly I don't have my own personal bag anymore, really just out of laziness, it is easier to throw it all in the "diaper bag".
I go through quite a few bags, this year I have used 3 so far and this is a picture of the latest one.

So the items include ....
size 4 diapers
size 2 diapers
wipes
diaper rash cream
my itty bitty wallet
my cell phone
chapstick
a iron pill, I put them every where so I will remember.
lip gloss
a pen (don't you hate it when you can't find a pen)
gum (don't like to go with out)
sunglasses, cannot live with out
Kessler's shoes
What's missing, a change of clothes for Kessler (I used them today due to a 'blow-out')
And usually we have snacks, a bottle of water and some hand sanitizer, but like I said this is a newer bag so I have been trying to keep it clean and throw stuff away.
So you ALL have been bag tagged, anyone reading this blog
