My mom is taking care of this guy at work and his mother posts a blog every morning, if you get a chance read her blog entry for Memorial Day.

The mother keeps a daily log of how he is doing, and she tells anyone they can read it, she just askes that you keep him in your prayers. She has had over 40,000 hits.

He is a 33 year old with Cystic Fybrosis, that recieved a double lung transplant 13 weeks ago and has been in the hospital ever since then.

2 months old~

Kessler is 2 months old now, and man he is a sweet little guy, he loves his brothers and sister, he loves all the chaos around him, (at least I think he does) He hasn't gone to his 2 month well child check but this week we will go see our beloved Dr. Lei. He is the greatest pediatrician, he has been with us from the start and I mean Alivia.
This memorial day weekend Alivia and Cooper are sleeping at Grandmas house, they get very spoiled at her house, popsicles, pancakes, you name it they ask for and usually get it.
Thanks Grandma, it has been an unusually quite night. Bauer has been out of sorts though, kept asking for Cooper and was getting into EVERYTHING, since no one was around to entertain him......

So I was bag tagged, I thought this was quite funny so here ya go.
Sadly I don't have my own personal bag anymore, really just out of laziness, it is easier to throw it all in the "diaper bag".

I'm leaving on a jet plane....

Time to go back to work. Yes in 11 days I will start part time flying again. It goes by so fast, actually 2 weeks early. I went back early so I could bid for the whole month. If not I would be on reserve and we don't like reserve.
So I got my schedule today, that it what prompted this post. On the 1st,2nd,3rd. I do a night trips or what we call them stand up's, you don't get much sleep. The nice thing about stand ups the kids hardly know I left. I get to the airport about 8:00 or 8:30 pm and then back in the morning about 8:00 am.


I do two more trips between the 5th and the 15th and don't have any trips between the 15th and the 30th, it was kind of weird, I usually just do one trip a week, but it packed 3 into one week and then the second half of the month off.
The pro to working part time flying, it is a mini vacation, I get to sleep in a hotel (not interrupted for 5-6 hours) which is better than what is happening now. I also get to fly with, a lot of my friends. Nice adult conversation in the friendly skies.
So I tried my uniform on today and it is okay, not loose like I was hoping, (Stacy S., looks like I will be training for that 5K as well :)
So if you are off to Spokane, Missoula, Oakland, Austin, Pasco or Billings let me know I will save you a seat.

A nice neighbor of mine gave me some strawberry jam for my birthday, and Alivia and I wanted to try some.
As I brought the toast out of the toaster, Alivia said "MOM, you know how to make toast, I didn't know that."
That is one of my specialties I said, she was very impressed.

Whoa is me.....

So the last 2 weeks or so have been some what annoying.

First our garage door opener is on the frizz....so it doesn't open, it will click but..nothin' .

Then our basement flooded, surprised....oh you shouldn't be. Ben and I since we have lived in Harvest Hills for 7 years now, our old house flooded twice. Our house, flooded last year and then flooded about over a week ago. A broken sprinkler line was to blame, it was the main line, so there was lots of water, about 3 inches in the whole basement.

It filled up our window wells, one was so full the window broke and all the water came rushing in.

So since then we have had to pull the carpet up 2 out of 3 rooms and had it re-stretched and cleaned.

And the story does not end there, so due to the flooding the deck sunk, because of so much water, so we will have to re-level that.

And finally the computer died, well the power supply did, so we had to go to Best buy and get a new power supply (100$) NOT CHEAP!!!!

I am a little annoyed, but I still feel lucky that it did not flood when we were gone.
